The host of the OBI UNITY CUP visited His Royal Majestic, Chief Chris Ijale earlier today to present the trophy and also to receive His fatherly blessings before the kickoff of the opening ceremony on the 16 February 2025 at the Government primary school obarike ito field.
His Royal Majestic, Chief Chris Ijale gave His full support to the Host Adekpe Matthew, and promised to be present to witness the opening ceremony.
His Royal Majestic, Chief Chris Ijale also thanked Adekpe Matthew for his selflessness to see the igede football grow as he also engaged the youths of the land as they are 100% ready to participate in this tournament.

I got a nod from the Executive Chairman of Obi LGC, Hon. Silas Odeh and the royal blessing from the entire Obi traditional Council.
As such, the 3rd edition begins tomorrow at St. Patrick Primary School Obarike Ito. By 4.pm.
